Yep, you read that correctly, I said the word Baby! The big news around here is that Nora is going to be a big sister right around April 22, 2010. Here are some early glimpses of the newest family member. Warning: The last group of images are frontal/face pictures, and at 13 weeks gestation, babies don't have much in the way of body fat, so the pictures are a bit skeletal. :) Hence, the blog title, baby's first Halloween Costume. Skeletor!
First two images are from an 8 week sonogram. The baby is the little blip inside the bottom right corner of the black boot-shaped spot.
And the rest are 2D and 3D images from my 13 week sonogram. It's an early screening for the trisomies. They looked for the presence of a nasal bone as well as the nuchal translucency (read more about this screen here).

I agree with Amy. They look great. Can't wait to meet him or her in the flesh. From what I can see of picture # 2 it looks somewhat like Nora. Congradulations.
