Current Nora-isms and stories

I've got to put these somewhere before I forget them...

-Nora was at Grandmomma's and she had to use the bathroom. She went over to turn on the fan and said, "I've got to turn the blower on, it takes the stink out of the room."

-She loves playing "wally-ball" (volleyball) with balloons. I correct her every time, but it's ingrained in her head as "wally-ball"

-She's doing great with potty training, but when we're at home and she's busy playing, she won't always go use the bathroom. Yesterday afternoon I kept asking her if she had to go to the bathroom and if her panties were wet and she kept saying "No." Finally I just took her and put her on the potty. When she finished I was helping her pull her pants up and felt that her panties were wet. I said, "Nora, you told me your panties weren't wet, and they are!" Her response to me was, "Well, you weren't supposed to feel them!" Oh boy.....

-According to her she can speak Spanish. I took video of her fluency the other day. I'm waiting for her to approach some Spanish-speaking person in public and try to talk to them.

-Yesterday I treated a client of mine at our neighborhood pool. I was walking Nora over to Charlotte's house before my session. She noticed my pool bag and asked if I was going swimming. I told her that I was going to work at the swimming pool to help a little girl who has trouble learning to do things like sit up, use her hands, walk, etc. I told her that she was 2 years old and that my job/work is to help her learn to do those things. Nora then turned to me excitedly and said "And when I know her, I can help her too!"
