Snow Day!!

It snowed off and on all day yesterday, and snowed ALL day today. We have several inches accumulated. I dressed Nora up in her snowsuit from last year (it's a bit snug) and took her outside for some fun in the snow. (or as she says it (silent /s/) "N0"

The things coming out of her mouth these days just crack me up! She was playing in the front yard and I got out the snow shovel and started in on the driveway. She looked at me and said, very excitedly, "Momma bacuum (with a b, not a v) s"NO"w outside??!!" She also calls her blue sled a boat. :) Makes sense to me!

Oh, and she is not actually holding the little shovel in the pictures. I stuffed her hands in some mittens and she did not have use of her thumbs. I then stupidly gave her the bucket and shovels to play with while I shoveled the driveway. She then got really frustrated that she couldn't pick anything up. While Murphey searched inside for something to use to fasten the shovel to her arm, I just wedged it up between her coat and mitten, and voila! Those OT skills come in handy as a mom sometimes...
