The Saturday before Thanksgiving we trekked to Green Bay. The flights were super smooth (thank you Northwest!) and relatively easy (thank you for your DVD player, Charlotte!). Nora yelled "Go Pack Go" (on Murphey's cue) right after we landed in Green Bay and everyone within 4 rows of us on the plane just started laughing and cheering. The guy next to us turned to us and said "Now that's American." Ah, yes, Green Bay loves their football.Green Bay was freezing, of course, but we got to spend some nice time with my family. My mom (and Murphey) cooked us a FANTASTIC thanksgiving dinner on Thursday and we quickly celebrated Michael's 28th b-day before hopping on a plane home on Friday. My nephew, Anaciano, is the sweetest boy around. He couldn't get enough of Nora. When he would see her for the first time one morning or after she woke from her nap, all he wanted to do was hug and kiss her. She loved the attention also... to a point... unfortunately, once she had enough and was finished she resorted to saying "all done hug" (his warning #1) and then she'd hit him if he came at her with a hug or kiss (warning #2?). Other than that, they had a great time together. I wish we lived closer so they could see each other more often.
Oh, by the way, the bruising on Nano's nose is from several days earlier, when he fell down the slide ladder at school. Can you say OUCH?
Here's a long video of one of their hug fests.

Notice Nano's hand, he was playing with her hair

Nano in a moose hat at Carol's

We spent Sunday at my Aunt Carol's house. It was so great seeing everyone!! We took the kids to a park right by her house, but it was so cold we stayed for less than 5 minutes!!! You may think I'm lying about how cold it was, but my mother and brother don't believe in winter coats, apparently.

Nora thought it would be fun to take a page of stickers and put them on Grandma's arm. Grandma was such a good sport through it all.

I baked Michael his cake and Nano did a great job helping me decorate it. He kindly wanted to spare Michael the pink and purple sparkly Barbie candles my father bought (as a joke), saying "No, I don't want those, my daddy is a boy." Of course we put them on anyway.

Story time with Grandpa

Happy Grandma

It looks like you guys had a good time. Nano seems to really love his cousin Nora.
They are so sweet together. I love Nano playing with Nora's hair. He'll make a good boyfriend someday if he keeps that up!
