Nora's interest in playdoh has continued and her creations have become more elaborate. This is "coral".

Birthday celebrations!! Her birthday was on a Tuesday, a day she goes to preschool. Grandma was also in town to celebrate, so Nora opened presents from us before school, from Grandma after school and from Grandmama and Grandpapa after dinner. She had a great day at preschool, her teachers are the BEST! They put together a little book for each child for their birthday and have all of the other kids in the class draw a picture and say what is special about the birthday person. Nora's book is full of great pictures and sweet comments.

After preschool Grandma and I took her to the park for a picnic birthday lunch.
Birthday cake!

The infamous bugle. Nora is a champ at playing it (better than I am!) Murphey has actually leaned out the back door and blown the bugle (sometimes playing a few bars of "Taps") to let Nora and Grandpapa know it's time for dinner! Our neighbors probably think we're nuts.

Lunch the day after her birthday. Cold pizza and frozen green beans, per her request. And yes, she did eat it.

On March 18 we took her to Disney on Ice. We paid a little extra and got front row tickets, we were so close we were practically sitting on the ice! It was spectacular. Combined two of her greatest interests, Disney and ice-skating.

On Saturday the 2oth, my friends Jessica, Stephanie, Ginger and Martha threw me a baby shower. They were so sweet, no detail was left out. We started with brunch at one of my favorite restaurants in Boulder and then moved to a great nail salon (all-you-can-eat m&m's and diet cokes, big screen tv playing non-stop chic-flicks/tv). As if that wasn't enough, they brought cupcakes from a bakery in Boulder and personalized m&m's.

Murphey and I decided to give cloth diapering a try. This is a cloth diaper cake made by Martha for me. It was so pretty I didn't want to take it apart!

It was such a fun day!!! I am so thankful for my great friends!

Nora REALLY wanted to fly her kite one day, but there wasn't quite enough wind, so she ran and ran so the kite would stay up in the air.

So, of course, she ordered Grandma to do the same.

My brother gave us Pictionary Man for Christmas. We have yet to play it because Nora has usurped it and loves drawing faces on it and dressing it up in her doll clothes.

We got Nora a pogo stick because she was insistent that she "just knew how to do it". She would not stop talking about it!! She spent the whole afternoon practicing and was able to get up to 5 consecutive bounces!! She now will admit that it is hard and that she is not an expert at it, so I think the experience was at least somewhat humbling!!

Playing dress-up with her friend Anna who came over for a playdate.

Love the tulips picture and the Easter pictures; she is so beautiful! Great baby shower; wish we had a cool nail salon like that here!
