VA Part II

The second part of our trip took us to Williamsburg to visit the Holtschneiders. Luckily it was a few days before Jenny, Kevin and Charlie departed for England. We were so happy to get the chance to see them!

Something about silver cars. Jenny and Kevin own a silver car, Amy had a rental because she hit a deer in her xterra, I had a rental, and Kevin had to get a rental so they would have enough room to get all their stuff and their cats back up to NoVA to fly out. They all happened to be silver. Funny, huh?
There is a really cool park near Amy's house that we took the kids to when she got home from work one day.

Photo-op fail. Don't try to take kids pictures when they're looking into the sun.

A long, long, slide. BTW, Nora called the play structure that housed this slide her "kingdom." According to her, nobody else could go there, except Daniel and her. I caught her telling another (older) child to leave because it was her kingdom. Had to put a quick stop to that.

Fun little climbing wall.

Playing football with Poppa in Amy and Scott's front yard.
Look at that stiff-arm!

One afternoon we went to York River State Park.

Ryan is so cute!! He is such an imitator!! He was trying so hard to do everything the big kids were doing.

We met up with Danielle and her two adorable daughters in Richmond one afternoon. Danielle is a friend that Murphey, Amy and I all went to high school with in England. Unfortunately I was a total dunce and did not get a picture of all of us together!!! Argh!! Here are a couple of pics of the kids at the children's museum.

In the dress up area. Nora and Eva went to town with the dresses.

The playground really looked like a magical kingdom. Did anything come out of the cow's udders that Nora was milking? Everyone looked as though they were having a BLAST!

Water came out of the udders.
