It causes me a small amount of pain to admit that Nora is no longer napping. A very small amount of pain, as opposed to a large amount of pain. You see, if she were no longer napping AND staying awake 3-4 hours after we put her to bed at night, I'd be pulling my hair out. Instead, nature has given us some light at the end of the tunnel and is teaching us that when our daughter naps, she 1) takes forever to fall asleep for her nap and 2) will stay up 3-4 hours after we put her to bed. So, we are happily foregoing the afternoon nap for nice, peaceful, quiet, restful evenings from 7:30'ish on. Phew.
The nice thing is that now our afternoons are free and no longer bound by naptime!!! Yay!!! So the other day Nora and I baked banana bread muffins. Yum!!! She's a batter girl, just like her mom. (Oh, and for those of you not on facebook, you do not know I have discovered Jelly Belly now makes Cold Stone Creamery flavors, including their Birthday Cake Remix flavor, which is cake batter!!!!!!! So exciting!!!)

That last picture is priceless. I'm glad you are somewhat at peace with the lack of nap. I have a feeling we are right behind you with that. Of course today she fell asleep for Chris in 10 minutes before 1 o'clock. What the heck? No fair. I am secretly almost looking forward to no more nap...assuming she can keep it together until bedtime. Enjoy your peaceful evenings :)
Loving all your pics, Mia! You always get the lighting just right, and you get some fabulous moments of everyone!
