As she was eating lunch, and I wasn't paying attention, she threw her arms out to the side and triumphantly said "Nora did it!" I looked at her and saw she had delicately stacked 3 of her Little People Animals! It was so funny I decided to take a picture of it. So I (kindly) told her not to touch it (because I didn't want it to fall over before I got a picture). As I started to take a picture, she burst into tears, and instantly was full-blown sobbing. I looked at her and asked her to use her words and she said "Nora touch it?" meaning she wanted to touch it. I told her it was ok, and that she didn't need to cry, that she could touch it now, and the tears were instantly shut off (but still running down her cheek). Pitiful. Here are the pictures I got.

This was minutes later... Could be titled how to enjoy a juicy pear

P.S. Kelly, this was just before you called, when I had to tell you to "hold on" as I closed one of Nora's nostrils and told her to 'blow' to shoot the mushy pear out of her nose that had worked it's way up there as she ate the pear. Can you see why?

(Wheezing from laughing so hard!) That poor baby! She probably thought she was never again going to be able to touch her beloved Little People zoo critters--and after being so proud of her achievement! Looking at that sad little face made ME cry...well, actually it made me LAUGH until I cried!
Reminds me of Nicole, when she has Tantrums. She is almost 5 and STILL having them.
Those pictures are priceless of her crying! And yes, I can see how the pear made it up her nose :)
