Kabuki Nora

So my mom called me this morning to tell me how disappointed she was with me... for not updating Nora's blog sooner. Sooor-ry! We did spend the latter part of last week in Telluride for Murphey's birthday, so I have lots of fun pics to post from then.

However, Nora gave me some great material this morning, so I will quickly post about this. I was hurriedly changing her diaper as we were expecting Martha and Levi at our house any second. Every time she gets a diaper change she gets a sprinkle of baby powder down there also. Unbeknown to me, she grabbed the OPEN baby powder (we are really good about closing it after we use it to avoid stuff like this) and VIGOROUSLY shook it, aimed right at her face.

Here are the pictures I was able to snap of it before cleaning her up. Mind you, these are several minutes later after much of the powder fell off, because, of course, right as she did this, the doorbell rang and it was Martha and Levi!

Marcel Marceau has gone, but his spirit and gift of laughter lives on in the eyes and talcum powder of another entertainer of infinite capacity to delight and surprise.
