Meet Dakota

Charlotte picked out a sweet little dog from the humane society today. She's been stalking their website since before she moved out here, looking for a canine companion, and she seems to have found a perfect match.

This is Dakota, a 6 year-old, Basenji/Shiba Inu mix, who was surrendered at the beginning of the month by her owner's mother because her owner had become too sick to care for her. She appears to have been very well cared for, has been microchipped and knows how to "sit" and "shake." She is a sweet little dog and was very calm and gentle around Nora. Charlotte gets to pick her up tomorrow morning, so I'm sure we'll have some more pictures after that. These pictures are from her first time meeting Dakota today.
