Happy Monday

What can I say, Nora knows how to do a Monday. Our garbage is collected Monday mornings, usually around 8:00 a.m. Nora can hear the truck when it's a few streets away, and she gets all excited. A little over a month ago we started sitting on our living room sofa on Mondays, waiting for the garbage truck to come. Yesterday, Grandpoppa was outside, so he came over to take Nora outside to see the truck up close!

Waiting for the truck!

Here it comes!

There it is!!
Bye Truck! (I know the picture's dark, but she's signing "more")

But I don't want to go inside!!!

Coming next Monday, a visit to the city dump! (Just kidding)

Start the day with a garbage truck, end it with ice cream! Sounds good to me! During dinner Nora kept saying "Ice Teee." Yes, you may say, she was asking for iced tea!! Thank you, Charlotte for introducing her to that the other day. We could not figure out at the time what in the world she was asking for! We kept saying stuff, asking her if that's what she was saying, and eventually we got to "ice cream." The girl is no fool. Once we said "ice cream" she started saying it over and over, until a little while later we found ourselves walking into Cold Stone Creamery. I think the girl is brainwashing us.

This age is so fun when you know most of what they are saying has a purpose and trying to figure it out is like a game:)

The other day Eli kept whining for 'beeeeeee....beeeeeee" and I had no idea what he wanted until he dragged over to our cabinet and I realized he was saying "bee" because he wanted the honey nut cheerios and there is the bee on the cover:) These kids are clever:)
