New Camera

Murphey got me a new camera for Mother's Day/Anniversary!!! The pictures from yesterday were taken with it and today we went on a hike and I got to take some more. It was kinda cloudy and rainy in the distance, thankfully it did not rain where we were, but it made for some nice pictures! I have a very thick instruction manual to read, and a lot to learn about photography, but I'm very excited!! Overall, it's been a great weekend!!!

I let the dogs out this evening and I was checking my plants and I noticed in the Lupine plant, two huge water drops cupped by the leaves. Ran and got my new camera and took these pictures. They don't look as cool as it did in person, but hopefully you get the idea.

I think that the pictures look really cool. Congradulations on your new camera. What kind of camera did you get? I especially like the water droplet ones and I think you really captured it in the last picture. It looks like a professional one.

Cathy, he got me a Canon Rebel XTi. Like I said, I love it, but need to learn how to really use it! :) Nikki, I wish you lived closer so you could teach me! Can you recommend any good books? There must be a "photography for dummies" out there...

You are a natural I love the droplets. Consider taking lots of vegatation shots. Compile them. Get it published. It will make an awesome coffee table book. Bestseller in the works.
