Where do I start!?!?

Amy and Jenny came out to visit at the beginning of the month and it's taken me this long to post pictures from their visit. How sad is that??? I think it may be that I'm overwhelmed by the sheer mass of cute pictures we got while they were here. There are just too many!

Nora was very excited to have Ryan, Daniel and Charlie here.
Nora and Daniel got right to playing. They went into the playroom and promptly closed the door. One guess as to what they were playing. Yep. "Doctor." Yeah, this picture was taken through the old cat door going in to the room.

Nora's 'excited' face.

We've been working on positive reinforcement to get Nora to NOT wet her pants. It's become a daily struggle, she just doesn't seem to want to stop what she's doing to use the bathroom. It's very frustrating, but she responds very well if we just make her (pick her up and take her to the bathroom) go. She'll look like she has to go but if we ask her, she says she does not have to go, 9 times out of 10... 9 times out of 10 we put her on the potty and she goes.

I made a chart for her that she has 7 boxes she has to fill in with pictures of Diego (She's his biggest fan). She gets a "Diego" each time she goes potty and her panties are dry. When she gets 7 "Diegos" she gets to play one game of Mario Cart on the wii. It's so much fun! Here she is sharing the fun with Jenny.
Nora and Daniel were great company for each other. On and off the potty! Here she is reading to him while he goes.

Doing a little OT with the kids. Giving Daniel some vestibular and proprioceptive sensory input. The little ones were not great fans of the tactile balls at first. They eventually warmed up though.
Little Charlie 'push-ups'

One of my OT toys, a pin board, broke. Murphey took it on himself to 'fix' it. Thankfully, part way into it, he decided to just buy a new one. Playing games with Murphey
Daniel made a "terrible mess" with the trains. Nora was very disturbed by the terrible mess and wanted us to all come see it.
We had a few nice days while they were out here. I think this was the nicest one, so we got to play outside a little bit.

Ryan wasn't feeling well and had a fever the first couple of days of the visit. We ended up taking him in to the urgent care clinic to make sure it wasn't an ear infection or strep, but it was neither. Just a virus.
Poor guy was DEFINITELY not a fan of the balls, at first.

I don't believe Nora is trying to pick Ryan up by his head.
Being a big helper.

And then day 4 of the visit, Nora and Daniel came down with fevers. Hers seemed to spike so I stripped her down to cool her off.

Nora playing with her b-day present from Jenny, Kevin and Charlie. Her very own camera!!
Ryan could be the baby model for this toy! He went to town on it.Mealtime for Charlie.
Cuddly, not-feeling-so-well Ryan.
Storytime!
Yelling at me to not take a picture of her.

Adorable

TV Zombie faces. They were not feeling well at all, so they got to watch lots of Diego.

Charlotte made a BEAUTIFUL quilt for Charlie.

Up next is the fabulous Easter egg hunt that Martha put on for us all!
