So while looking over these pictures, I wish I had taken more of our time at Myrtle Beach. Thankfully, Nikki was not lazy (like me) with her camera and she got lots of great pictures. It was such a fantastic trip. Then I remembered we have AWESOME HD footage of it taken with our new video camera. Phew. Sorry, but I won't be able to post any of that footage on the blog. I'm not that tech savvy...
We spent 4 days/3 nights in Myrtle Beach and loved it. The condo comfortably fit all 4 families, we each had our own bedroom, plus a kitchen and living area. The water park within the condo was perfect for the kids. Nora loved the waterslides and swimming pools (see Nikki's blog for pictures of that stuff).
One night we went down to Barefoot Landing, an outdoor retail/restaurant area. The kids were out late, way past their bedtime, but Amy and Scott decided to let Daniel try this bungee trampoline thing. So we figured Nora and Eli could do it as well. They were all so psyched to do it. They waited a good 15 minutes or so in line, BY THEMSELVES! They sat there so patiently, and all did way better than I'd expect for their age. Here's the video of Nora's turn. Dropshots has a 2 minute limit for free uploads, so the video actually goes almost 4 minutes, but this is all that I'm able to get up. One of my favorite parts of the video, that you don't see here because it's cut off, is how Nora, several times, singled Amy out of the crowd and yelled, "Look Amy! I'm jumping!" and "Hi, Amy!"

One of the restaurants we went to was empty enough that the kids got their own table! It worked out so well! They nicely occupied themselves.
A snack creation of Josh's. He named it "Redneck Thai"
Our night out at Barefoot Landing
There was a merry go round (or as Nora was saying "American" or "American go round"). We decided to take the kids for a spin on it. As we walked up to it I noticed it was going REALLY fast, and realized that I would be so sick if I went on it. Murphey couldn't take her on it because he still wasn't cleared to lift her. Scott had Ryan in the sling and Amy gets motion sick also, so Kevin and Jenny gladly took the kids on it for us. What a good aunt and uncle (and future parents) they are!

And then, sadly, our beach time came to an end and we were on our way back up to Williamsburg and then NoVA again. I got this picture in the car. I don't know what's up with that devilish look..

And some quick pictures before leaving Virginia.
It is so easy getting a picture of all of us together..
