My friend Shanna was here for the weekend (and I didn't get one picture of just the two of us. Dangit! Actually, the only picture I have of both of us in it, is the one above.) Murphey really did a fantastic job arranging a perfect girl's Saturday for us. A million thanks to him and Charlotte and Murf for taking care of Nora so that we could have an awesome day!!!)It started with boba tea and we relaxed our way through pedicures at a super-fun nail boutique, walking around Pearl St., tapas at a Mediterranean restaurant, the, or should I say THE Sex and the City movie, and ended with drinks at a martini bar. We had a great group of girls out for dinner and the movie.
*not pictured is Kim, who is VERY pregnant and offered to take the picture in lieu of being in it. You look fabulous, Kim!On Sunday we drove to Rocky Mountain National Park and spent the day there. We had a picnic lunch, which was so much fun with Nora. She was so excited!! We got to see lots of wildlife (tons of elk, the most I've ever seen up there!) You'll see the pictures of the herds of elk on the Estes Park golf course. I couldn't imagine trying to shoot past them! Yikes! The weather couldn't have been more perfect for us. It was funny, because on a little hike, we discovered a small patch of snow. Nora and Shanna made a tiny snowman (we named him Sprout). Oh, and the picture of Nora and the rock? Yes, she was trying to pick it up. Enjoy the pictures here!
Next May you'll be seeing more pictures of Shanna!! Congratulations to her and her fiance, Zach. We'll be at their wedding on May 9, 2009, in Tyron, GA! (Coming your way, Nikki!)

What a great weekend. The pictures are so gorgeous. I can't believe the elk! I can't wait to show Chris those pictures.
Those are absolutely beautiful pictures. The elk remind me of all the geese we have around here. Can't wait to see you when you come to visit Amy. Nora looks so grown up now. Quite the big girl.
