On Tuesday Nora and I flew into National Airport, DC. Jenny picked us up and took us out for lunch, then Nora and I got a rental car to drive down to Williamsburg to surprise the Holtschneiders. (Well, surprise Amy, who wasn't expecting us until Friday, Daniel and Ryan; Scott knew we were coming.) It was so much fun having Nora walk into Amy's house and hear Amy say "What are
you doing here!?!?!" We had a great few days with them (and boy was their house spotless for an unannounced visit and having a newborn!!!) and then we headed back to NoVA to hang out with Erin and some of my friends.

I know we are out here mid-summer, but boy is it hot. We met up with Erin, Bryce and Brendan, and my friend Kelly and her daughter Maddie on Thursday for dinner at Red Robin. Afterwards we took the kids to the park and everyone was a sweaty mess in seconds. It made for cute pictures though, because the girls' cheeks were nice and rosy from the heat!

The picture of Nora and the cat is Amy's cat, Rudy. Before I leave, I will get a weight on that cat. I swear, he is half housecat/half bobcat. He is freaking huge. He's put on quite a few pounds recently and is super fat. Amy's in denial about it, but her cat puts Garfield to shame.

Looks like fun!
LOVE that baby hair...too cute.
Nora is turning into a little lady so quickly...but, she still looks outweighed by the cat ;0)
Great pictures! Ryan is adorable and Nora and Daniel look like they're having a ball. I love the picture of Nora and Maddie on the sidewalk holding hands. Keep 'em coming, please!
Rudy looks great!!! Cats are supposed to be fat:)
Can't wait to see you guys!
Fabulous pictures! Love the ones with the bubbles and, of course, with Nora and Erin. Stick the cat in your bag and bring him back to Merlin please.
Baby Ryan is so precious and Daniel is darlin with Nora. I love seeing them play so happily--that's what childhood is all about!
Post pics nightly please.
