My sweet, darling husband has decided to do something wonderful for me in gratitude for being the one to get up with Nora every day for the past few months. Next weekend my best friend from college is coming to visit. He has so graciously arranged and paid for us to get pedicures at a fun nail spa in Boulder (that serves M&M's and Diet Cokes and plays chick movies and t.v. on big screens) and has bought us tickets for the Sex and the City movie. What a guy! Really though, we owe super huge thanks to Charlotte and Murf who have helped us out tremendously since Murphey got hurt. They always make themselves available to watch Nora on top of watching her all day on my work days. That, and they made sure Murphey didn't starve while I was in Tucson. You guys are the best.
Anyway, on to the pictures.
Charlotte made Nora a darling Olivia quilt and pillowcase. Nora was so happy with it. Here she is sleeping with them (while I anxiously awaited the arrival of her toddler bed)

And, behold, the toddler bed

Murf and Charlotte bought a sand and water table for Nora. I think she could be occupied for hours with it.

Charlotte had a little help putting her bird feeders out.

And, I cannot resist making the caption for this one:
"How many McCloy's does it take to hang a bird waterer?"

And finally, for your entertainment, Nora singing and playing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star." I just got her a book that has 2 zillion verses for this song, so that's what she's trying to sing. She doesn't have them completely memorized yet, so they're kind of piecemeal for now.

I loved switching my kids to toddler beds, it is such a big step towards being a big kid. Nora looks so comfortable with her olivia quilt. btw, I love Murphey's very attractive accessory! :) I hope he heals fast.
Don't feel guilty about putting Nora in a toddler bed. Besides, Murphey was in a regular twin size bed with a side rail at the age of 18 months because he kept crawling out of his crib. Loved the pics!
Question: How many McCloys does it take to hang a bird waterer?
Answer: As many as can fit in the picture--the fun increases exponentially with each and every McCloy!!
The pictures are wonderful! I love the Olivia quilt and pillow. They are the perfect accessories for a new big girl bed!
