I'm going to have to start making sure that Nora's face is REALLY clean, because Murphey got me a new lens for Mother's Day. Yippeeee!!!! (Kelly and Chris, it's the Canon 50mm f/1.4 lens.) I LOVE IT!!!Those of you who know me well, know that I'm blinder than a bat. No joke. I don't wear glasses because they're so heavy (even with the ultra-light/ultra-thin lenses) that they just slide down my nose. That, and even in the ultra-thin lens, my lenses are so coke bottle, they stick out from the sides of my thick plastic frames! Anyway, I swear, I cleaned Nora's face after she ate dinner tonight. I cleaned her face and her hands. (She chose to dip her green beans in her yogurt). So that's sweet potato you see ALL over her face in this picture. Sigh... I do still just love her expression. What a comedian!
Today's been hectic, with Murphey's surgery and all tomorrow, so here are a few shots I got while playing around with the camera.

Murphey let me have fun with his hair yesterday. He loves the show "Top Chef" and we like making fun of the fact that so many contestants on that show have faux-hawks. He didn't believe he had enough hair for a faux-hawk, so I had to prove him wrong. Then, of course, I had to put him to work in the kitchen so he could feel cool, like he was on the show or something. Love you, Murphey! (I'll be sure to get some great shots of him in recovery tomorrow with my new lens!)
