On Friday I took Nora with some friends to another local farm, expecting an experience similar to the other farm we went to. We quickly discovered that this farm is the place to go if you want wagonfuls of fresh produce. We paid $15 and hopped on a tractor pulled hay trailer. It pulled us around the acres and acres of fields and would stop at each crop. We'd hop off and pick to our hearts content. We wound up with bags and bags of corn, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, beets, carrots, parsley, eggplant, cabbage and pumpkins! Quite the haul. She had a good time and was very excited about the tractor.

That looks so awesome... I wish I knew of something around here like that... we are lucky to find a good farmer's market
That looks like so much fun. Nora looks like such a star in those sunglasses. I love it.
Nora is the only person in the world that can make carrots look good!
I'm having a bit of trouble with the comments on Nora's escape artist adventures, but I just want to say that if Little Murphey is sometimes awakened by ghostly laughter in the middle of the night, it's probably coming from the Astral Plane occupied by his mother and father as they remember how he often pulled his "Houdini Act" and made for the wide open spaces. At least he can comfort himself in the fact that while she is every inch his daughter in her ability to escapem from confinement, she is a bit more proper in her manner of dress in that she at least keeps her pants on when she does break out. Based on experience, I attribute that salubrious characteristic to her mother's genes and influence.
