Murphey's dad got into town this week! We get to have him for a nice long visit this time! He and Nora took up exactly where they left off last time he was here. Here are a couple of videos from playtime the other day.
I also thought I'd share this funny little Nora story. Her language is taking off. She now will repeat simple 2 word phrases she hears me say. It's curious, but the clearest of those are "No Jack," and "Bad Dog." (Hmmm... wonder why that is!?!) I will try to get those on video, because they are hilarious. Since she is starting to imitate so much, sometimes I have to stop and think to try to figure out what she is saying. The other day, as I was making her a turkey sandwich for lunch, I got out the mayonnaise (squeeze bottle) and squirted a little on some bread for her. Her eyes lit up and she looked at me and said "Ruh... Ruh..." as she patted her belly. It took me a few seconds, because I've never seen her do this at mealtime, and then I realized what she was doing. When I put lotion on her, I'll squirt it on her belly and tell her to "rub" it in. Poor thing thought I was putting lotion on her bread. No wonder why she tries to eat the lotion all the time!!!!
