She FINALLY did it! After spending 2 months at 19 lbs., Nora tipped the scales at a whopping 20 lbs.!!! I swear, I have been weighing her every minute waiting for her to get to this point so I could turn the DAMN car seat around!
I was so excited. I went out to the garage and got out the instruction booklet, started flipping through the pages and then I saw it. The "tip" they have placed near the picture of the kid sitting in the forward facing seat.
It reads: "Tip! Many safety advocates and healthcare professionals recommend that children ride rear-facing for as long as possible."
It says they can be up to 30 lbs and rear facing. Oh well. I'm erring on the side of safety here. She won't know the difference. This week she's started waving "hi" and "bye" to any big trucks she sees. I keep hearing "bye truck!" from the backseat. She seems to be having fun. :)

Sounds like Nora is small like Nicole is. I remember having to wait for a long time to turn Nicole around also.
Wow...and I've just nearly lost the equivalent of Nora's weight. I'll be glad to give her 15 more ;0)
