Nora's hair has been driving me NUTS for the past few weeks. I finally couldn't take it anymore, (and I don't think Murphey could take anymore of my whining about her hair) so I called my hairdresser this morning and scheduled a time we could drop by with Nora to get her little baby mullet taken care of. (sorry Jenny, Nora didn't care for her mullet as well as you did yours so it had to go)
Of course it was a big event for us, I snapped away the entire time Estevan was cutting, and Murphey stood there vigilantly with an envelope for him to place her baby clippings in. Not a one fell to the floor.
I really didn't expect any trouble out of her, as she loves to have her hair brushed and she just stands and watches me as I dry my hair. We plopped her in a booster seat, covered her with a drape and she was mesmerized. She sat sooo still the entire time. A woman next to her was getting her hair blown dry so Nora was watching that intently the whole time.
We walked across the parking lot to Mimi's Cafe for dinner afterwards where Nora proceeded to quickly emerge from her haircut paralysis. She played her 'up/down' game in her booster seat in the booth, where she stands up and says "up" and then plops down and says "dah," and waved as if she were a celebrity to people 50 feet across the restaurant. That's my girl.

Mia,
Wow, that top photo cries out to be turned into a painting on black velvet. You ought to ask Midge if Tom paints on more than just canvas! ;) I especially like the photo where she is looking back over her shoulder.
Mike
