I think my daughter touched her brain today...

LITERALLY... I had just given her a bath and had her on the changing table. She was pointing to the different parts of her face and her little finger went straight up her nose as she pointed to it. I reacted (hindsight, duh, should have just ignored it) and pulled her finger out and probably said something like, "No, don't stick your finger UP your nose," to which she responded by SHOVING her finger so far up her nose, 2 knuckles disappeared. I immediately saw her right eye (same side as the nostril she was invading) tear up and I pulled her finger out. She busted out crying and I'm hoping it's because it hurt to have her finger up that far and not because I pulled her finger out.

And this is how we learn... Pleasing or noxious stimuli encourage or discourage repetition of actions taken. Of course, if she happen to hit the reset button on her brain while her finger was jammed that far up her nose, there's now telling if that last lesson took!

Here's hoping that she missed the button,

Don't you hate it when even spell-check can't save you from a typo!
