Swimming, Standing and Spaghetti

Feb 8-14
Here are some videos from this past week. Nora has been quite a firecracker. We went to the pool for a baby swim class, and the first video is from her playing afterwards.

Nora started climbing onto her push toy this week. Unfortunately she was not content with that skill and has taken a liking to standing on it. Fortunately her balance is pretty good, so she is able to climb down as well as up. She has fallen a few times, but gets right back up to do it again.

We had spaghetti for dinner the other night and it was soooo nice to feed her what we were eating. I wasn't sure if she would like it or not, but she loved it! Lentil soup is on the menu for tonight, so we're hoping she's as enthusiastic about it! (On a side note, you may notice how long it takes her to swallow the applesauce Murphey is feeding her. She's always done this with stuff she really likes. She almost looks like she's choking, but we think she's just really tasting the food)

The spaqhetti video made me laugh out loud.. her talking was hilarious. I can't believe she didn't seem to care at all when she fell...tough little girl:)

Mia, I love all the pictures and videos and so does Daniel. He watched them with me and kept commenting on them. He really liked the one of Nora on the train as he has one too. He also like the one of her in the pool and kept talking about the water and the baby.

What a sensory experience that feeding was. Way to go! I loved her talking. She's becoming such a big girl...can't believe she's almost 1. And the train...she's got great balance! She makes it look so easy :)

It is so fun to actually see what I have been hearing. I love the swim suit, so cute! And I loved watching her eat the applesauce. It is so funny to see her pause and sort of take time out to enjoy the food. I miss her so much!
