Snowshoeing!!!

This afternoon we went on our first ever snowshoeing expedition with the Bertele's and the Walker's. It was sooooo much fun! We went up into the foothills and hiked for about an hour on the Ceran St. Vrain trail. It was very cold and windy when we got out of the car, but Martha did a good job picking a sheltered trail and it was just gorgeous!! They all brought their dogs who were sooooo well behaved. They had so much fun running up ahead on the trail. Could you imagine if I brought Jack and Aubrey? Disaster!!! I can't wait to go again!!

Here are some pictures
Ted, Kim and Max (and Hunter)

Steve, Martha and Levi (and either Penny or Chewy, one of their dogs)
Me and Nora before we started

Martha and Levi (he did such a good job with that pacifier, I think he only dropped it a couple of times!!!)

Kim and Max

For the first half, I had Nora on my back and I couldn't see her, so I took this picture. She had her neck hyperextended the whole time so she could look up at the treetops and the sky. She did such an awesome job!

Phew! We made it! When can we go again??

My favorite picture is the last one; I love her snow outfit. The boots are great! It must have been such a good workout with her on your back. Good thing she's such a munchkin! Way to take advantage of the beautiful area you live in. :)
