43 Weeks

Date Night!
Since Charlotte has moved into town, she has made sure that Murphey and I have enjoyed many date nights, where she babysits Nora for us. Here we are all dolled up for Murphey's work's holiday party.

Nora is moving up in the world of solids, and she loves apples. So one day I gave her one, expecting her to just suck on it, but she just started taking big bites out of it. She loved it, but she couldn't handle the big bites so I had to take it away from her so she didn't choke.

Her latest game is to cover her hands with food and run them through her hair. Here is a picture of a hairstyle after I used a wet paper towel to remove all of the food bits from her hair.

New obsession: The fireplace
Pushing her train around. She's now walking behind her toys and cruising the furniture! She's also starting to stand alone!
Yum! Peas and carrots, anyone?

You guys look so great!!! That's wonderful that you can have date night. Nora is doing so many things now...I can't wait to see her again!

It's a good thing you took the apple away. Kevin (with his impressive 3 total hours of babysitting experience) said that apples should come with a "Not suitable for children under the age of 3" sticker. "An apple a day... my a$$!" he says.

Jenny, that is funny... Kevin is a very responsible Uncle, I'd trust him with Nora any day!

Ha! Ha! I think that next time we all get together we should make a point to have some apples just for Kevin!

Hmmm... maybe I should have sent him a fruit basket for his birthday! (mental note....)

I love all the pictures, especially the hair ones. I concur that both of you guys look wonderful. You both look very happy. Leave it to Jenny and Kevin to have anxiety attacks about apples.
