17 Weeks

July 6-12, 2006

We spent this week with Amy, Scott and Daniel. Daniel became less shy around Nora and was fascinated with her carseat toy.

He also warmed up to me when he saw I had some applesauce. I'm smiling so big because he came up to me, unsolicited, climbed up into my lap and waited politely for me to offer him a bite (which of course I did!!!). He's starting to say "please" and "thank you" now. It's so sweet.

Nora is getting really happy because she is rolling ALL OVER the place. She is spending less time on her tummy now because she just keeps flipping over.

On her way to visit Kayla the dog.

Nora the entertainer, balancing soft stacking rings on her head!

Hanging out with Daniel's Nana (Cathy) and Uncle Andrew. (They babysat Nora and Daniel so Amy and I could go to a movie.)

One of the highlights of this week has been Nora's first time swimming. She really enjoyed the water, and wanted to stand up on the steps.

We spent about 20 minutes in the water and when we got out, her little toes were all wrinkled.

A refreshing snack after her swim, she was trying so hard to hold the bottle!!

She's happy in the highchair and ready for some solids! She'll be getting cereal soon after we return to Colorado!!!
